Dear Friends and Finish Rich Community Members,
I'm really excited to be gearing up toward the launch of my new book Start Over, Finish Rich: 10 Steps to Get You Back on Track for 2010. It's available beginning December 29th but my team just posted a sneak preview of the first chapter on our Facebook page.
With the economy showing early signs of recovery, 2010 will be the best opportunity for building wealth that we have seen in decades. And as the economy recovers, you've got to be set up to recover with it. Start Over, Finish Rich will show you how--step by step.
I'll be sharing so much more with you in the coming weeks but for now I'd like to invite you over to Facebook.com/DavidBach. Become a fan, then access Chapter One on the "New Book" tab. Enjoy!
I?m thrilled to be doing several podcasts with AOL?s Personal Finance site Walletpop.com and I?m looking for readers who would like to share their personal stories with me on the air.
If you live in the NYC area, we?d love to have you join us in studio or if you don?t live close by, you could phone in.
Here?s what I?m looking for specifically:
1. Who would like to chat with me about where you stand financially right now? As you start receiving your year end statements, what are you experiencing? Did you stop contributing to your retirement/401k? Do you know what you?re invested in? Do you have questions on how to evaluate where you are right now in order to make 2010 your opportunity to start over?
2. I?m also looking to talk to those of you who are experiencing success. Have you already started to turn things around financially? What have you done right? What successes have you had?
To submit your story, email me at success@finishrich.com. Provide your story IN DETAIL and tell me a little about yourself, including where you?re located.
Looking forward to hearing from YOU!
In the very last chapter of my new book, I share with you my own personal "start over" story. And in that chapter, I write about "getting grateful." The simple act of being grateful is something that can actually turn your life around.
This Thanksgiving I hope we can all take a few moments to reflect on all that we have to be thankful for. I like to actually sit down and write out a gratitude list. It's a wonderful reminder of those things that maybe tend to be taken for granted--like our health, our family, our friends. I hope you'll give it a try too.
I'd like to wish our entire Finish Rich Community a warm and wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. I am grateful for each and every one of you. And as we count our blessings this year, let's not forget the brave troops overseas and their families who wait for them to return home safely. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Happy Thanksgiving. Until next time...
Live and finish rich,
David Bach
