Dear Friends and FinishRich Community Members,
With this challenging economy, people tend to experience a great deal of stress, pressure and uncertainty. There's a whole lot of negative news out there and it's truly hard not to lose confidence in your own personal financial situation. If you're feeling unsure right now, you're not alone.
Last month during our July coaching call, hundreds of you phoned in with some really important questions--questions we all need answers to! We received some really great feedback after the call and if you took the time to drop me an email, thank you! My team and I truly appreciate hearing from you and we're glad you're not only enjoying the calls, but getting help and support from them as well!
If you missed the call, no worries. The free recording is still available. Take an hour out of your hectic day, ask your family to join you too, sit back and listen in. You'll be glad you did.

Feel free to share this link with friends and family. And stay tuned for our announcement of the next live coaching call coming this Fall. Details to follow.
Like I mentioned above, these are tough economic times. And when money gets tight, it's very common to experience challenges in our relationship with our spouse or partner.
I recently joined Redbook Magazine Editor-in-Chief Stacy Morrison on The Today Show to talk about the top money mistakes couples make. Watch the video for tips on what couples can do today to get their financial house in order, including why it's not a good idea to dip into your 401(k) and how you can take steps with your partner to get out of crushing credit card debt. If you?re in sales, sales management, want to be in sales or even know anyone in sales, I?ve got a book that I?d like to recommend to you called Hot Prospects: Proven Strategies to Ramp up Your Sales Career by Bill Good.
I?ve known Bill for nearly 20 years. He was one of my mentors in the financial services business. When I was developing my Smart Women Finish Rich seminar (which soon after became my first New York Times best selling book), I used the system he developed to keep track of my mail database?-people who attended my seminar, those who did not, and those who wanted to attend in the future. He helped me build the systems necessary for a great sales career.
When Bill asked me for advance comments for his book, I gladly offered the following testimonial:
?When it comes to prospecting and marketing, Bill Good is the master. He prospected me until I had a one inch thick file of "Bill Good letters" and he had me sold. Bill Good taught me and mentored me to master my own unique system of prospecting. I have no doubt Hot Prospects will help you live and finish rich -- it certainly has helped me. Find what you like and apply it today!?
-- David Bach # 1 New York Times bestselling author of The Automatic Millionaire and Start Late, Finish Rich
Bill?s book helps sales people of all levels, rookie or veteran, to develop what you need most?hot prospects. And that?s what you need to make more money so you can live and finish rich.
I learned and applied what Bill taught. You should too. Click here now.
In my newest book, Go Green, Live Rich, I devoted a whole section to making your first green million. I truly believe green investing will be to the twenty-first century what technology was to the twentieth century.
And the good news is that green investing doesn't have to be complicated. It involves investing in opportunities, companies, and services that will both support and promote climate change-- reducing CO2 output, improving the environment, and turning the tide on global warming.
Want to learn more? Find out how to get started by checking out the video interview I just recently did with a company called Howdini.com. Click here to watch.
And exciting news! Go Green, Live Rich is back on the New York Times Bestseller list for August 10th! Thanks to everyone who has supported this little book with a big message.
About eleven months ago, my team and I launched the all new Finish Rich Coaching Program and the results that our students are seeing are truly inspiring.
Here's one of our latest success stories:
Words cannot express how glad I am to have come across The Bach
Program and to be involved as a student. With all the resources and
material, I'm changing my thinking about money and our finances daily. The
reading material is enlightening and insightful and further aids in redirecting a more responsible approach to an individual?s finances.
I realize a huge obstacle for my husband and me is communicating
on a regular basis about our financial picture. One valuable saying
which you have shared with us, 'Make time for that which is important', is
something I repeat to myself daily. I also remind my husband. I believe
coaching has created a vehicle for us to use to better our situation. There is a lot of legwork which has to be put into place before we can really be on our path to success; however, I feel the program helps you to take little
steps while allowing you to stay motivated.
My husband and I have agreed to pay ourselves first and save 3%
during this next month, 6% the next month and 12% thereafter of
our gross. We have also agreed to track our spending for the next two
month because we still don't have a good understanding of our spending. I
know this program is going to help us in ways that we never imagined
knowing that we also have to do our part- a - lot of hard work!
As I go through this process, it is quite alarming to look at the amount of
spending and the bills which we have. We definitely have a lot of overhead.
It's very time-consuming but I know we will benefit in the long run. My
challenges managing our finances has always been how do I create a planof-
action to take charge and how to get my husband to understand why we
need to monitor our spending, reduce debt and how to go about doing it.
More importantly, I needed guidance and I needed him to hear advice from
someone other than myself. Coaching was the answer.
We plan on using our $1000 Latte Factor to pay off our debts which
includes a credit card, student loan and a couple of car payments.
